I live and work on unceded Budjalung Country, near the Cavanbah - the meeting place, an area also known as the Northern Rivers on the east coast of Australia. Through my work and life, I strive to recognise and honour that country, language, culture, land and waters along with the living ancestral bonds that exist for all indigenous peoples across the lands are a vital, integral part of our species and planet’s wellbeing. My deepest respect and listening to my own ancestors, to the Arakwal Bumberlin people and to all First Nations elders and leaders around the world, past and those present among us today.
