Welcome to my loving and safe space where you can share, learn & prepare for Pregnancy, Birth & Early parenting with ease and confidence. Online or in person, I will work alongside you to prepare for a most profound period in your life - Motherhood. Wheather you are a first time mother or have been doing this for a while, taking care of you is foundational and the best thing you can do for yourself and your family. Making sure you are vibrant and thriving during this phase fo your life will ensure you arrive the next stage repleted, in excellent health and ready for your next adventure!

Preconception, Pregnancy, Birth & Early Parenting are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to provide your child with the best foundation for optimal development. Navigating what is best for you and your family can be a daunting task. Not only that, you might find that your choices are misunderstood or even contradictory to those of close family and friends. ​

I have created a unique integrative nutrition health coaching program dedicated to supporting mothers during the perinatal period. The program is suitable for all mothers, not just mothers with babies, though if you have just had a baby or are expecting a bubba, you've come to the right place for support.

Working with Mothers..

Working with mothers I'm often hearing their frustrations with a lack of continuity of care from their health care providers, with the plethora of information out there on nutrition and every other aspect of taking care of themselves & their family, with the consistent bombardment of advise given for pregnancy, birth & parenting..

​One of my biggest gifts to you during our sessions will be to help you find your true intuitive inner voice & trust this voice with fervent regard.

Working with me

I offer several ways for us to work together. The two main ways are private coaching sessions and group coaching sessions. 

Private Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching sessions 
I work out of my beautiful office in Mullumbimby and see clients in person, via Skype & phone. Coaching is a wonderful way to plan, set goals and implement change over a sustainable time period to affect real results. Not much can be achieved in only one session. That being said some people certainly benefit from a power session. Usually though, these are people that have worked before with a coach or are highly committed and ready for major change and simply require a boost or cick-start. Ongoing coaching sessions are beneficial for most people (i have had a coach for over 6 years now and find her to be invaluable in my life!).

A little bit about me

I am the loving mother of two home & naturally birthed and raised children, you can read more about my personal experience HERE. I'm a certified Integrative Nutrition Health + Personal Coach for women and their families, specialising in the support of women during their reproductive years. I am also a freelance Producer & trained Vegetarian Chef. I write & speak on the topics of community, family, birth & motherhood. 

I trained as an IIN Health Coach with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, in Functional Nutrition with Holistic Nutrition Lab as well as taking courses with Dr Sarah J Buckley on Un-disturbing Birth and I have a deeper understanding of the role of microbes during birth & breastfeeding through further study with the University of Colorado, Boulder. I am also a trained Vegetarian Chef and a lifelong lover of nutrition & food, you can find out more about my training HERE.

Being a Content Producer & Broadcaster for PBB Media on award winning local radio station 99.9BayFM (Byron bay, Australia), co-hosting for the internationally popular Pregnancy, Birth & Beyond radio program and periodically volunteering with Maternity Choices Australia as a Consumer Representative, has equipped me with insight into the current themes women and their families are facing during these important years. My experience is further extended by several years of pregnancy support group facilitation & coordination.

Over the past 7 years I have been formally and informally training in the area of Natural Pregnancy, Birth and Early Parenting methods in order support my clients in the best possible way. Areas of focus include enhancing and maximising nutrition during Pregnancy & Breastfeeding; wellness practices such as mindfulness training & gratitude practice, movement and appropriate activity during pregnancy and postnatally; un-disturbing birth information and techniques; all to better support my clients to have the best possible birthing & parenting experience. 
I regularly attend professional seminars and conferences relating to maternity care, deepening my understanding of this field.  

I have extended my study into natural early parenting methods including EC (elimination communication or nappy-free), Co-sleeping, Baby-wearing, Attachment parenting, Nutrition & Cooking for children and more - all of which i have practiced successfully with my own family. 

Through partnering with my clients, I provide unique and continuos support in the areas of nutrition, wellness, self-care, movement, activity and more during the critical phases of Pregnancy, Breastfeeding and Early parenting. Childbirth in most settings, natural and home birth planning and preparation insights as well as coaching during these phases are an integral part of my practice. I am available to support the whole family when needed.
